You guys, I am so fascinated by this shop I had to share. Bailey’s Home and Garden is a converted English barn in the Heredfordshire countryside. Owners Mark and Sally Baily have done an amazing job displaying their one of kind objects.

If I ever came I would probably wander through here for days…Mark and Sally Bailey spend a lot of time traveling finding their goods. I appreciate the patience and thoughtfulness they have put into this space. I’m kind of glad they don’t ship internationally; I’m just going to have to make the trip to England…

Wow, I can’t believe Easter is in two weeks…Are you looking for some timeless and pretty spring dresses? The US company Olive Juice might be good place to look.

With four daughters I appreciate the timeless look of these dresses. They could easily be handed down and still look classy. I also like that the dresses could easily work for a wedding, communion, or other occasions. I have been admiring their Peter Pan collar dresses, but the sweater dress on top might be my new favorite…

I consciously struggle to keep my life slow; and this week I lost. But next week I will try again…

Scotch and Soda is a company from Amsterdam. Their clothes range from ages 4-12. Take a look.

I like the combination of ethnic, tropical, folklore, and big graphic prints. I wish they had the toggle coat in my size (top picture). The boy’s outfit (6th picture from the top) would look so good on my ten year old. If he would still let me dress him…

I’m always thrilled when I find out about a new to me US children’s brand. Neige was founded in 2004 and is based in Southern California. Here is their new spring line. The photo story was done for the online shop Ladida.

I like the combination of fun prints with classy lines. The baby outfit with the bloomers is so sweet.

Tea Collection Early Spring 2014

I noticed I have been featuring a lot of European labels in the last six months. I’d like to remedy that since there are a lot of good American labels out there. Tea is one brand I tend to buy a lot. Take a look at their Moroccan spring collection.

Fun fact: for everyone of their collection Tea company travels to a new country to get inspired. For this one they captured the vibrant colors, textures, and patterns of Marrakech. The blue dress in the last picture and the zigzag leggings are my favorite. As a mom of a daughter with sensory issues I am so grateful for comfortable, loose fitting clothing options.

Oilily Spring/Summer 2014

If you have been following this blog for a while you’ll know that I am a huge fan of Oilily, the quirky Dutch company. Their photo shoots never disappoint. Check out their spring/summer 2014 line.

I love how they go all traditional with this line, adding their fun, colorful mismatchy touches they are known for. The red checkered cardigan is my favorite. And I am always a sucker for striped socks. The dutch clogs remind me of our first trip to Europe in 2000. Back then we only had one child (kind of hard to imagine). We dragged the poor kid all over Europe; he was barely two. We were in Holland for my friend’s wedding; and we had bought Finn a pair of the famous clogs. Back then he was really into shoes and he was so thrilled to clack around on cobble stone on a quiet Sunday morning. You could hear the him from far away. Funny the reaction we got from the locals. It was either “oh, how cute is he!”, or “look at these silly Americans!”.
