How to Kiss a Frog is a company from Sweden, who shot their fall 2014 collection on the beaches of England. I love how they pulled off a cowboy and Indian theme on a beach! Take a look.
The floral dress (last picture) is my favorite. But I am also liking the handsome look of the boy’s shirts. Who would have thought you could combine snake patterns with cowboy hats and boots and make it look fabulous?

My 10 and 8 year old are always spying on each other, so this is the perfect theme for us. I’d love to own the Sherlock cape or Nancy Drew dress. The Snapshot sweater on top would work for boy or girl. I’m loving the creative combination of Peter Pan collars, plaid, and Hello Kitty.

As the World Cup just ended (hurray for Germany!) I thought it would be fun to introduce you to Tip Toey Joey, who did their beautiful product shoot in Rio. The shoe company was created by an Australian dad and a Brazilian mom, who just couldn’t find the quality shoes their were looking for their daughter. Take a look.
I would like one of each, please size 8. Especially the fringe sandals, and the striped Mary Janes. And Rio has been added to my list of places to go.

The founder Emilie Ventujol combines timeless, classic pieces, that remind you of your Italian nona’s baby pictures, with Indian block printing adapted to modern tastes. Take a look.
What a beautiful photo shoot in the Italian country side! As a mother of four girls I appreciate timeless pieces, as they can be handed down easily. And if they are lose and comfortable, even better. I would love the dresses in size 3 and 6, and 8, please! The shop carries boys and girls clothes sizes 2-10.

Last weekend I went to Socorro, a small town in New Mexico. We lived there for 3 years while my husband was going to grad school. This catholic church is my favorite building in town, and we have done family shoots here before. This time I did not have a lot of time, as I was on my way to a wedding shower. Also the church was being cleaned on the outside, and only two of my girls were willing to let me take their picture. As we were taking pictures we were dodging the water hose…Keeping it real my friends! Still I love how they turned out.

It has gotten pretty warm over here and my mind is already in summer mode. When you think of summer vacation, what comes to mind? A national park, a road trip, or maybe the beach? For me two places remind me of my childhood summers: a working farm in Bavaria or the Adriatic coast. The Italian company Benetton picked a lake location for their summer shoot. I imagine this lake is somewhere in Italy or Switzerland. Anyway it transported me back to my cousin’s husband taking me out on a similar boat once when I was the same age as these kids. It felt pretty special.
Benetton is known for their bright, fun colors. I would like the blue striped shirt for my 10 year old son. The embroidered sleeveless top with the turquoise skirt is darling.

My mind is on birthdays big time. Five of our children were born between February and May. It’s like a Birthday marathon around here…So it was great timing to find out about Fire and Creme, an LA based company. Their party boxes and props creatively take you beyond Frozen and My Little Ponies (which is the world I live in).
How about a Cowboy party?
Or a circus…
And a fairy themed party….
And lastly, my favorite: a Zorro party!

How are you doing? Is your school year almost done? Are you hanging in there? I have been posting less here because our lives have been full with friends visiting, baby showers, birthdays, and other festivities. However I am very active on Instagram, so you can follow along with us there.
This photo shoot in the streets of Paris caught my eye. I can’t say I care much for the Sonia Rykiel adult line, but the kid’s one is charming. Take a look.
