Happy Valentine’s Day

It’s been a while since my last Valentines photo shoot, so I was thrilled when my friend agreed to bring her sweet little baby over to take some pictures. Of course my two youngest wanted in on the action. There is something about having balloons in the house…take a look.

How darling is this little girl?!

How are you celebrating this year? We had plans to go out; I was going to make cupcakes; the girls usually make Valentines for their friends…but then we all got sick. Oh well, that’s life. I’ll make the cup cakes some other time.

Have a lovely day,

Sofija

It is February (thank God, January is my least favorite month) and some of you may be thinking of Valentines day. Do you celebrate it? My husband and I don’t really but for our kids it is a big deal.

Last year Emily and  I did a Valentines photo shoot. I wanted to share it with you again in case some of you missed it. And because it was so cute and I wanted to feature it again on my blog.

My sweet mother-in-law had send us a Valentines package with matching blouses for the girls, so I asked them to join us.

This year I thought it would be fun to do a Valentines photo shoot. So I was super glad when Emily took time out of her week to come over on Friday to take pictures. I love how they turned out.

Happy Valentine’s Day

How is your week going? Any big plans for Valentine’s Day? I have to confess, it is not a big deal to me. I could happily live without it. But it is a BIG deal to my girls. They have been crafting, gluing, coloring their Valentine’s for days now. Not to mention the labor that went into the boxes to put the Valentine’s cards in. This is serious businesses, as these boxes are judged in contests at various parties. My girls had a big party with their American Heritage Troop on Monday, and today we are going roller skating with our home-school group. This, I hope, will conclude our Valentine’s festivities. Well, maybe we can squeeze in a romantic dinner with my husband somewhere.  Since that is what it is supposed to be about, right?
