It snowed. We went behind our house and took pictures. More coming soon…
Happy 4th Advent!

Antik Batik is a French company for girls ages 2-14. I like how they mix colors, patterns, and prints: Tunisian gowns, Aztec Indian embroidery, and tie dye all mixed in with some fun colors and soft vests.
The blue Aztec tunic on top is my favorite. The orangey/yellow pants would brighten up any dreary winter day. The Tunisian vest (second to last picture) would make a big statement on any outfit.

Remember the recent photo shoot I did with Emily for my blog? I asked her to take some pictures of me as well. Of course Emily added a generous amount of photo editing. I asked my children how different I look here and in their usual honest candor the answer was: ” It is the pretty you!” 🙂

Wow, is it really December? I remember it just being October, and I am not really sure what happened to November…Thanksgiving kind of flew by and I have not a single Christmas decoration put up as of yet.
Here is what is helping me to get into a Christmassy mood. A photo shoot by the British label Joules.
Isn’t this too cute? These are great ideas for your next family photo shoot. The flower skirt and fair isle sweater in the last picture are my favorite.

The more I get into children’s fashion, the more I find myself gravitating towards Polish designers. They seem to design with children’s needs for comfort and play in mind. Kids on the Moon is a company based in Warsaw. Take a look.
So dreamy! Perfect for a lazy Saturday…The cloud sweater with the tutu is my favorite outfit. My daughters are really sensitive to seams and restrictive clothing; I appreciate when companies design comfortable and loose pieces.

Here are some more pictures we took in addition to the ones for the blog. We asked the girls to play ring around the rosie.
On another note, this blog has a Facebook page now. You can find it here.
Have a great day,

I’m so exited about the above picture I will use as a header for my blog. I have been envisioning my girls holding a banner like this since last summer. Well, summer came and went and I never got around to it. Last Saturday we finally lined up our schedules and drove up to the mountains. That is the only place around here where grass grows naturally. We had two objectives: take pictures for my blog and me take pictures of the photographer and her family. Thus I had three more cutely dressed girls at my disposal.
Aren’t these cute? I love the two little ones holding hands…

Happy Sunday to you all.
I missed my Friday post because I was trying to get ready for a photo shoot. I realized I wasn’t quite ready so we pushed it to Saturday. Friends, I loved how it turned out. I didn’t end up using the Christmas banner I have been working on, but I got some really cute pictures for my blog. Here is a sneak peek.

H&M collaborated with Unicef for this Halloween Edition.
Not only are the costumes fun and creative but part of the proceeds go to help children in India and Bangladesh.
